When 24,000 standing seam, Zinc tiles were needed to cover the innovative sculptural form of architect Zaha Hadid's, 2009, Glasgow Museum of Transport, Varla UK (zinc/copper cladding specialists) were faced with an interesting set of problems; the process of numbering, flattening, adding seams and dimensioning each durable, waterproof and perfect tile - to fit the sculptural outline of the building's skin and contours, were automated through Rhino.
